Karen Kay (Selle) Lehmann

ISHPEMING, MI – Karen Kay (Selle) Lehmann, age 68, Ishpeming resident passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

Karen was born in Barberton, Ohio, on May 4, 1955, a daughter of the late David and Harriet (Scheel) Selle. She graduated from Barberton High School and received an associate degree as a Medical Assistant from Akron University.

Karen worked as a medical secretary for the office of Dr. Kurt Lehmann and Eye Associates of Marquette. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Karen enjoyed playing pool and softball.

Karen is survived by her son; David K. (Stacey) Lehmann of Lansing, a nephew; Nathan, niece; Sarah and her former husband; Karl Lehmann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Thomas Selle.

A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ishpeming, with Rev. Steve Weston officiating with a greeting time from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

A luncheon will be held following the service in the church fellowship hall.
