Dorothy Ilene (Fossitt) Taylor
MARQUETTE, MI – In memory of Dorothy Ilene (Fossitt) Taylor, 86, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and educator, who passed away on April 27, 2023.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Michael Catholic Church in Marquette, Michigan on Saturday, July 1, 2023. The visitation will be held at the church from 11:00am-1:00pm followed by Mass at 1:00 pm celebrated by Father Gregory Heikkala.
Following Mass, she will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will be held at the Marquette Golf Club on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 3:30 until 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that monetary donations be made to Saint Vincent de Paul or Marquette Regional History Center in Dorothy’s memory.
