Warren Edward Murray

Born October 22nd, 1939, in Michigamme, a son of Jerry and Armenta (Chapman) Murray, Warren was raised in Michigamme where he attended the local school. He enlisted in the US Army and following his service to our country, returned to the Marquette area. Warren was employed for many years as a substance abuse counselor. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Warren loved music and in his younger years played in country music bands. In his leisure moments, he enjoyed playing his guitar, going out for coffee, and visiting with family and friends.

Warren is survived by his two daughters, Arrin Murray and Shane Murray both of St. Augustine, FL; and his son, Edward Cherry of Caledonia, WI.

Friends may call at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Friday, May 19th, beginning at 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm., Rev. Kevin Taylor will officiate. Veterans honors will conclude the service.
