Gary Barshaw

Gary was born in Marquette, MI on March 19, 1955. Graduated from Marquette Senior High School and eventually moved to Kissimmee, Florida where he worked various carpenter jobs then in 1986 moved to Columbia, Pennsylvania where he continued working as a carpenter and met his significant other Buffy Hollingsworth.

Surviving family members include significant other Buffy Hollingsworth, stepson Aaron (Samantha) Mergler, grandchildren Kylie and Tristan Mergler, sisters Roberta (Steve) Hampton and Jill (Jeff) Duer, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Gary in death were his parents Catherine (Smith) Barshaw and Raymond (Bill) Barshaw, and his brother Scott Barshaw.

A celebration of life is set for June 10 in Columbia, Pennsylvania with Gary and Buffy’s closest friends. Gary’s family in Marquette will celebrate Gary’s life privately sometime this summer.
