David Ross Larmour, Sr.

David was born in Marquette, Michigan, on April 24th, 1942, a son of the late Dorothy A. (Schroeder) and Rexford P. Larmour. He graduated from Ishpeming High School, Class of 1960. Following graduation Dave enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served from 1960 to his honorable discharge in 1963.

Dave was grateful to be on the 20th Honor Flight to Washington DC in the fall of 2022.

Dave worked for the First National Bank of Negaunee, where he worked for 26 years, retiring as a Vice President, and later worked 10 years for APS Properties.

Dave was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed helping others, building decks, garages and barns, and other smaller wood working projects. Dave would never miss any of his grandchildren’s activities. He was an avid Packer, Celtic and MSU fan. He loved his classic cars he had over the years.

David is survived by two sons; Dave (Jody) Larmour and Rick (Tammy) Larmour, 5 grandchildren; Chase (Molly) Larmour, Elayne (Andrew) Eliason, Alexa Larmour, Ansley (Jordan) Hebert, Kaylee Larmour, 1 great-grandson; Rhylen Eliason, 2 brothers; Les (Mary) Larmour and Pat Larmour, his Companion; Kathleen Schroeder, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12th, 2023, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming, with Fr. Ryan Ford officiating.

Public Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming.

Military Honors will be accorded by the UP-Funeral Honors Team at Northland Chapel Gardens.
