SANDS TOWNSHIP, MI --James Michael Palm, age 53, of Sands Township, passed away March 31st, 2023, at home.
Born March 24th, 1970, in Marquette, a son of William and Judith (Toms) Palm, Jim was raised in Negaunee and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1988.
He enrolled at Northern Michigan University while working in the family business, Honda of Marquette. Subsequent employments included BSA of Marquette and currently at Meijer where he loved his Meijer family and all his customers in the Garden Center. Jim enjoyed golfing and enjoyed mowing and manicuring his lawn which was a great source of pride for him. Jim was a fan of the Denver Broncos and the Detroit Red Wings.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Danielle Palm of Marquette; his friend/former wife, Debbie Palm of Marquette; his brother, Steve (Bonnie Hoff) Palm of Skandia; his niece and nephews, Amy Palm, Mark (Heather) Palm, Michael Palm, and Ryan Palm; and his feline companion, Gizmo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Candi Palm.
Honoring the families request, no services will be scheduled.
