David Lee Meadows

David was born on August 16th, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jackson and Sarah (Lewis) Meadows. David graduated from Whitmer High School in 1962 and attended college at the University of Toledo. A devoted husband and father, David was married in 1981, to Charlane Wilton. With Charlane being a widow at the time, David took on the role of father to her six children, and he loved and cared for them as if they were his own. David was a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating 14 businesses throughout his working life. Ontario Foods, Gruber Produce Superior, Toledo Fruit and Meat, Monroe Fruit and Meat, Hickory House, King’s Cove, Greek Connection, Decker Packing Company, Williams Provisions, Midwesten Distributors, Toledo Meats, Marquette Meats, Memories Restaurant, and Adrian Meats.

Surviving David Lee Meadows are his loving wife of 42 years, Charlane Meadows; children, David Jr., Lori (Kenneth) Smith, Charles (Marie), Mark, William (Amanda), Christopher and Daniel and his brother, Dennis Meadows.

David was preceded in death by his son, Fredrick in 2016; his brother, Danny Meadows and his parents, Jackson and Sarah Meadows.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
