SAN LEANDRO, CA – David L. ‘Dave’ Laurich, died Thursday, March 30th, 2023, with his beloved dog in his lap. He was 63.
Dave was born on January 6th, 1960, in Marquette, Michigan.
He lived in San Leandro for 37 years. Dave worked at a construction company, where he was an Underground Heavy Equipment Operator.
In 2019, Dave underwent surgery for lung cancer.
He remained in remission up until 2022, when he had a recurrence.
Dave remained courageous as he continued to work while he underwent radiation and chemotherapy.
Dave is survived by his daughter, son, wife, and many other relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held at one of his favorite places on Monday, April 10th, 2023, from 4 pm – 8 pm, at Porky’s Pizza Palace in San Leandro.
