NEGAUNEE, MI – David Scott Kero, son of the late Theodore and Shirley Kero, passed away on February 25th, 2023, in Goodyear, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years; Elizabeth Kero, his son; John (Sara) Kero, his daughter; Emily (Phill) Orley, sisters; Julie (Brian) Hintsala, Valerie (Bob) Hintsala and Heidi Johnson, brother; Pete (Miriam) Kero, brother-in-law; Greg Anaas, brother-in-law; John (Angie) Hjelt, sister-in-law; Kris Nitzel, treasured niece; Danielle (Randy) Keough and her children; Nathan, Anika and Miles many wonderful stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of loving Brothers and Sisters in faith.
Dave was born in 1957 and lived most of his life in Negaunee, Michigan. He graduated from Northern Michigan University, retired from electrical engineering at Jacobs and WE Energies and was a bike mechanic at West End Ski & Trail. He loved cycling, Nordic skiing and was always up for an adventure with his family and friends.
Most of all, he treasured his Faith until the glorious, unexpected day that God called him Home.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Sunday, March 5th, 2023, at the Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church in Negaunee.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with Don Johnson officiating. A luncheon will be served in the church hall following the services.
