LeeAnn H. Brewall

LeeAnn was born July 26, 1929, in Escanaba, a daughter of William and Alda (Hoppe) Lenzie. Her father was employed as a logger and the family moved to his various work locations during her childhood, mostly in Marquette County.

She came to Marquette as a teen. Her first employment was with the Marquette Dress Factory.

On October 25, 1947, LeeAnn was united in marriage to Marvin Joseph Brewall and together the couple made their first home in Harvey where they resided for most of their married life. LeeAnn settled into her role as wife and homemaker, and then mother, as the couple raised their daughter, Debbie. To LeeAnn, Debbie was the only girl on the planet.

Following Marvin’s retirement, Marv and LeeAnn traveled and spent winters in Homosassa, Florida. Throughout their lives, the couple was inseparable.

LeeAnn was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

LeeAnn is survived by her daughter, Debbie Brewall of Marquette; a foster son, Michael (Anna) Teeple of Oregon; grandsons, Jeffrey (Kathy) Bigger and great-granddaughter Ellie of Harvey, Tony (Robin) Elvetici and great-granddaughters Janessa and Makenna of Green Bay, WI; her siblings, Judy, Jan, Jackie, David, and Butch; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, LeeAnn was preceded in death by her husband of almost 70 years, Marvin; siblings, Gerald, Russell, William “Sonny”, and an infant brother.

Friends may call at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Monday, December 5, beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. Rev. Kevin Taylor will officiate. Interment will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will follow at the American Legion beginning at 1:00 pm.
