GWINN, MI – Ronnie Burton Pariseau, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022.

Born May 27th, 1941, Ronnie was the only child of Sylvia (Mohn) and Burton Pariseau. He lived his whole life in Gwinn and graduated from Gwinn High School, after which he worked for the Gossard Company for a brief time before beginning 30 years of employment with Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company. During this time, Ronnie also owned a small business, Free Lance Photos, specializing in portraits, weddings and landscapes. He was contracted to take progress photos for Bechtel Corporation during the Tilden Mine construction. After retiring, he took a job driving the Shuttle Bus for the Ojibwa Casino and he enjoyed the new friends he made there.

Ronnie loved photography, his feline companions, flying his drone, buying tools and gadgets to use and lend out, do-it-yourself projects, learning and mastering technology, making people laugh with his witty humor, his daily dish of ice cream and bottle of diet Mountain Dew.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith Ellen (Maki); son, Steven Pariseau; daughters, Kathleen (Tom) Leone, Cynthia (Albert) Feltner and Patti (Alan) King; grandson, Logan King and best friend, Michael Pelkola, who he shared many a Subway sandwich and conversation with over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Sylvia Pariseau.

Honoring Ronnie’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial may be directed to UPAWS or the charity of choice.
