David (Dave) G. Loucks

He was born July 10th, 1940 in Marquette, MI. Son of the late Edwin G. Loucks and Rhoda M. Loucks. On March 16th, 1957, he married his late wife, Gloria A Shelafoe, who preceded him in death in 2015. Together they lived in Skandia, MI, Davenport, IA, Kewaunee, WI, Algoma, WI, and the most recent; Two Rivers, WI.

Survivors include his children: David R. Loucks; Two Rivers, WI, Tarry Gadzinski; Kewaunee, WI, Beverly Roll; Pekin, IL, Penny Loucks (Stuart Claflin); Two Rivers, WI, Mike and (Tammy) Loucks; Luxemburg WI, Lisa Loucks; Mishicot, WI, 28 grandchildren, 51 great- grandchildren, 7 great- great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Heath; Skandia, MI, brother, Donald and (Joan) Loucks; Raymond, NH; other nieces and nephews also survived.

He was preceded in death by one son; Mark Loucks, one grandson; Stephen Loucks, one son-in-law; Wayne Roll, brothers; Robert Loucks, Gerald Loucks, brothers-in-law; Peter Shelofore, Wally Lehto, Eddy Lehto, Robert Heath, William Kunde, Monty Settlemoir, Milton “Tex” Minor, Leo Trapanier, and Morris Minor, sister; Judy Loucks. sisters-in-law; Linda Lehto, Carmen Loucks, and Betty Loucks.

Dave was a heavy equipment operator in his younger years. He was always an avid fisherman and hunter. He would spend many hours on the water. He enjoyed his time with family and friends, listening to them play music while he sang and danced.

His favorite hobby was restoring classic cars. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family and those who know him.

The Family will greet relatives and friends on September 3rd, 2022, at West Branch Cemetery, township of Skandia, MI, at 1:00pm for Burial and a celebration of life to follow at the home of Harvey and Cathy Kunde: 120 Kunde Rd Or County Rd. TA 49885 for his Celebration of life.
