Patricia Ann (Clark) Peterson

Born October 16th, 1941, in Marquette, a daughter of Dexter and Viola (Johnson) Clark, Pat was raised in Marquette Township by her mother.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph “Pete” Peterson; two sons, Rick Peterson of Perch Lake, Ishpeming, and James (Melissa) Peterson of Ishpeming; a daughter, Christine Schiellack of Ventura, CA; five grandsons, Daniel (Amanda) Peterson of Madison, WI, Derek (Audrey Schlais) Peterson of Saukville, WI, Christopher, Matthew, and Andrew McGivney of California; and one very special beloved great-grandson, Nathaniel Peterson of Madison, WI. Also surviving is a sister, Peg (Kenneth) Berry of South Lyon, MI; a brother and two sisters, Jack, Linda, and Karen Clark of the local area; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Gremban of Land O’Lakes, WI, as well as, nieces and nephews and three grand nieces and a very special friend, Terri Beard.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Viola; two brothers, Daniel and Gary Clark; a sister, Gale Clark Toimko; and brother-in-law, John Timko; and father, Dexter.

Following her graduation from high school, Pat worked at Montgomery Ward and Soo Hardware. For 30 years, she served as executive secretary to several bishops of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Marquette, retiring in 2006. Pat and Pete spent many years at their cottage on Lost Lake.

Friends may call at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, July 7th, beginning at 10:00 am, until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Rev. Greg Heikkala will officiate. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception room.
