Carol A. Bush

Carol was born in Iron River, MI, on May 28th, 1937, daughter of the late Caroll and Henrietta (Odgers) Carlson. She attended Iron River area schools graduating with the class of 1955.

Following graduation she went on to obtain an associate degree in nursing. Carol worked as an LPN at Marquette General Hospital for many years, followed by the Jacobetti Home for Veterans, where she worked until her retirement.

Carol was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and a life member of the Ishpeming VFW. She enjoyed crocheting, doing ceramics, going to the casino, traveling, watching the birds, and spending time with her grandchildren and fur babies. Carol loved going to the yearly get together at Ice Lake in Iron River with family and friends.

Carol is survived by her daughter- Karen (Ron Denney) Bush, 3 grandchildren- Jamie Kibler, Jessica Bush, Chad (Tia Haglund) Billings, 2 great grandchildren- Karsyn Kibler, Talan Peterson, along with many close cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband- John W. Bush.

Following Carol’s wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of her life to take place in Iron River in the summertime.
