Deborah Charlotte Lilly

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Deborah Charlotte Lilly, 68, of Fredericksburg, VA, went home to be with the Lord Jesus, on Saturday, October 9th, 2021.

She was born on January 25th, 1953, in Marquette, Michigan. She graduated from Gwinn High school in 1971.

Debbie developed her own valuable skills and spent many years working with church organizations managing administrative services, desktop publishing, editing publications and writing. She was a wonderful loving wife and partner who worked alongside her husband Dalton sharing the gospel of Christ locally and regionally through Narrow Road Ministries. Her outreach included local nursing homes and a number of multimedia platforms.

Debbie was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in Richardsville, VA. She was a sweet and caring neighbor to her community of Burlingame Lane. Debbie’s greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, gardening in her flower gardens and sitting with her kitties. Her passions were sharing and passing on her skills, love, and generosity to others.

Debbie was also known for her artistic abilities in multiple mediums, a photographer, writer and editor, skilled home chef, and one who loved sewing and the art of crochet.

She is survived by her husband, Dalton Lilly; loving children, Corrina Lynn Pearson and husband, Gus Pearson, three grandchildren, Foster, Owen and Ammerie; her mother, Charlotte Mumpower; four brothers, Kim Trevillion, Brent Mumpower, Tom Mumpower, Jim Mumpower; and four sisters, Jacqueline Trevillion, Nanette Bentley and husband, Warren, Cindy Trevillion, and Linda Labriola.

Friends will be received on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 6-8:00 pm, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A Christian “going home” celebration will be conducted on Sunday, October 17th, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at the funeral home, after which burial will be in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Richardsville, Virginia.
