Andrew Norman Anderson
MARQUETTE, MI – Andrew Norman Anderson, age 54, of Marquette, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 21st, 2021, in Wisconsin.
Andy was born April 22nd, 1967, in Newberry, Michigan, a son of Andrew and Billi Jean (Lehtomaki) Anderson. He was raised in Skandia and Munising and graduated from Munising High School in 1985. He then entered the Air Force and served in Japan and was honorably discharged. Andy met his soulmate, Shari Brugman, while working at Northern Stationers, in Marquette. They just celebrated their 18th Wedding Anniversary. Andy was employed as a lineman and foreman with M J Electric and Hooper Electric. Andy had a passion for dirt bikes, raced motocross for several years, and enjoyed getting out for a ride any chance he could get. He had a great passion for the Lord and for his family. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Big Bay, hunting and using his skidsteer.
Andy is survived by his wife and soulmate, Shari; son, Andrew Anderson; a step-daughter, Amber (John) Gauthier; his sister, Angel (Josh Schmuckal) Bodi; a brother, Chad (Tonya Arens) Bodi; and his grandchildren, Ella and Ethan Gauthier.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Douglas; his stepfather, Don Bodi and a nephew, Kent. Friends may call at Messiah Lutheran Church, on Saturday, October 30th, beginning at 11:00 am, until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Rev. Molly Eversoll will officiate.
