Knut Strom
ISHPEMING, MI – Knut Strom, age 91, longtime Ishpeming resident passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Marquette County Medical Care Facility.
Knut’s family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, on Friday September 17, 2021, at the Bethany Lutheran Church, in Ishpeming, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Bruce Thorsen officiating. The service will also be lived streamed on Bethany Lutheran Church’s facebook page. Masks are recommended to be worn. A dessert social will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Inurnment will take place in 2022, on the island of Joa in Norway.
Memorials can be directed to St. Jude’s at stjude.org, the National Ski Hall of Fame or Bethany Lutheran Church, in memory of Knut.
