Jeffrey S. Johnson

SKANDIA, MI – Jeffrey S. Johnson, age 62, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, entered eternal life Saturday, April 24, 2021, following a heart attack.
Born in Marquette, Michigan, on September 17, 1958, a son of Les and Sylvia (Marjonen) Johnson, he was raised in Skandia. He graduated from Gwinn High School, Class of 1976. He moved to Florida and later Virginia before settling in Morrisville 33 years ago. He married Kristen Swenson, on September 18, 1999, at Presque Isle. Jeff was a very proud union electrician with IBEW Local 269 for 30 years, where he was a member of their Executive Board as well as other committees. He was also a former Councilman on the Morrisville Borough Council. He served on the Morrisville Municipal Authority and was a member of the Bristol Masonic Lodge # 25 F.& A.M.
Jeff loved his family and friends, enjoyed traveling, playing guitar, hunting, fishing and being outside in nature. He was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Jeff was always ready to lend a helping hand, share a funny story and make you smile and laugh. It was never dull being with him. We will miss his laugh. He loved the UP and was chronically homesick for 33 years.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Kristen (Swenson) Johnson; two sons, Eric (Melissa) and Robert Johnson, and two very special grandchildren, Emma and Owen; his step-mother, Mary Johnson; brothers, Paul, Dean (Esther) and Sam Johnson; and sisters, Kelly (Larry) Kurin and Lisa (Phil) Harrison; and his Golden Retriever, Abby.
