Ann Marie Cass

Ann was born in Ishpeming, MI, on October 31st, 1945, to Eugene and Selda (Ahtonen) Larson and grew up in Soumi Location. She was a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming, MI.

She married John A. Cass, on Sept. 5th, 1964 and moved to Ishpeming to raise their family. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26th, 2009.

Ann had a great sense of humor and a beautiful, infectious smile. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling and she loved to swim. If there was a pool, creek, or a lake around, you could guarantee she would be going for a swim. She also made the biggest and best pasties that her family loved and would make delicious fudge every Christmas. Ann was a lover of animals and nature and she enjoyed reading and listening to Country and Religious music. Above all Ann Loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.

Ann will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her children: John (Julia) Cass of Green Bay, WI, Donna Cass of Midwest City, OK. Denise (Ed Edgerton) Roberts of Midwest City, OK. And Todd (Rumana) Cass of Puyallup, WA. Her Grandchildren: Christopher and Mandy Cass, Nicholas Edgerton, Dani Rae Cass, and Alisha and Riahna Cass. Sisters: Sharon (Richar d) Dunn of Gwinn, MI, and Melissa (Gene) Anderson of Negaunee, MI. A brother, Eugene Larson of Ishpeming, MI. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Munchie.

She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her brother Donald Larson.

A graveside service will be held at a future date this summer in Negaunee, MI.
