SKANDIA TOWNSHIP, MI – Kurt W. McMaster, age 55, of Skandia Township, entered eternal life Monday, November 16, 2020, at UP Health System – Marquette.
Born August 7, 1965, in Marquette, a son of George and Esther (Barnett) McMaster, Kurt was a lifelong resident of Dukes Road in Skandia Township. He attended Gwinn High School and later was employed in the construction industry and with Takalo Saw Mill in Skandia. Kurt enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and drinking beer.
He is survived by his sister, Gail (Bryan) Horvath of Skandia; his brother, Gary McMaster of Skandia and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
