Janet Grace (Harper) Talbert

Janet was born in Ontonagon, MI on July 3, 1959, daughter of the late Joseph and Carol (Johnson) Harper.

She was a graduate of the National Mine High School. Janet worked as a cook at local restaurants for years and most recently in the Deli at Meijer.

Janet was a fun loving spirit who loved taking rides out north and spending time on Silver Lake, camping at her favorite childhood campgrounds at Norway Lake and at Pohlman Country.

Janet is survived by 2 sons- Marcus (Kimmy Sue Swenor) Harper of Ishpeming, Jospeh Harper of Tampa, FL, 4 siblings- Judy (Larry) Goldsworthy Fickes of Ishpeming, Jane (Ron) Harper Hitesman of Benzonia, MI, JoAnne (John) Harper Armitage of Iron Mountain, MI, Joe (Melency) Harper of the Philippines, 4 grandchildren- Aiden, Avery, Jonah, and Asher Harper, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Following Janet’s wishes cremation will take place with a celebration of her life to take place at a later date.
