MARQUETTE, MI – Jeffrey Scott Vashaw, born on May 15, 1963, in West Allis, Wisconsin, left our lives on August 6, 2020, as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

He was an avid lover of the Green Bay Packers, Nascar, hockey, and baseball. He attended 1st-8th Grades at St Peter’s Catholic School, and graduated from Marquette Senior High School, Class of 1982. Following in his Father’s footsteps he became a Journeyman Electrician with the Local IBEW 1070, which he was still an active member until his death. While growing up he loved fishing with his Dad on the Great Lake, 4 wheeling, hunting and snowmobiling. He always loved a good chat session while enjoying an ice cold Budweiser. He was a devoted and loyal friend with his closest friends at the time of his death being Brian Young, Rick Allen, and Daryl Bates.

Jeff is survived by his Mom, Marie Vashaw; two sisters, Laurie (Rod) Eagle and Sandy (Wayne) Dagenais; nieces, Brittany Dagenais and Stacey Eagle; nephews, Keith Williams and Jason (Rachel) Eagle; a great niece, Aryannah Hughes and great nephews, Ben, Sam and Luke Eagle.

Due to the Covid Pandemic a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Park Cemetery in Marquette, MI. All who knew him are welcome to attend. Jeff will be missed dearly by his family and many friends who are numerous.

Fly like an angel and look over the family you left behind until we meet again! Also, we know you and Dad will use your electrician skills to keep the stars shining bright!
