Douglas Pellow

Doug was born to Betty (Dahlquist) Pellow and Ralph Pellow on September 26, 1955, in Ishpeming, MI.

Doug graduated from Ishpeming High School then preceded onto welding school in Marquette, MI. He served in the Army National Guard until 1979. He worked for M&E International Foundry for 12 years until its closing in 1993. Went onto construction in Arizona and finally celebrating 25 years of work for Louisiana Pacific in Sagola, MI.

He was looking forward to retirement in September.

Doug loved riding his 4wheeler with wife; Debra and camping with friends; Van (Pat) Thomas of Newberry, MI. He liked taking saunas, working around the yard and watching nature.

Survivors include his spouse of 38 years, Debra (Jandron) Pellow. Son; Jeramy (Gwen) Pellow, grandson; Jacob Pellow of Iron Mountain, MI. Sister; Jan (Marv) Swanson of Ishpeming, MI. Brother; Ralph Pellow of Ishpeming, MI. Sister; Carol (Boyde) Bergum of Mississippi. Brother-in-law, Gary (Kim) Merrill of Spread Eagle Wi and Bob (Kathy) Merrill of Ishpeming, MI and Maurice Merrill of Negaunee, MI. Several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
