Anita Glispin

TACOMA, WA — MY OBITUARY AS OF April 20th, 2020

I, AnitaKristeen (Sicotte) Glispin willingly passed from this life into the next on April 20th, 2020 at Saint Joseph Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Cause of death was from pneumonia caused by the COVID-19 virus. I resided at 20235 12th Avenue NE, Poulsbo, Washington, with my husband Tom (Alfred Joel Glispin) of 55 years. I leave behind our amazing son, Terry Bradford Glispin and his life partner Erin Hewgley of 4039 Lealand Lane, Nashville, Tennessee and our beautiful inside and out daughter, Karrie Kristeen (Glispin) (Mauk) Cook and husband Robi Cook of 288 Lakeview Trail, Hiram, Georgia and their children our special grandchildren McKenzie Kristeen Mauk, Connor Mauk, Tyler Cook, Austin Cook and his wife MarySue Cook and our great grandchild Cason Cook.

I was born to Frank and Norma Sicotte in 1946 and raised in Marquette, Michigan with my brothers Roger (wife Verna), Jerry (wife Barb), and Greg (wife Shar) where I graduated from Graveraet High School and married Tom in 1964. We began our journey together in California where we were blessed with two children and then moved on to South Carolina where I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Mathematical Sciences and worked as a software designer until I retired in 1996 in Washington. After Tom retired in 1998 we began the “Golden Years” of leisure, hobbies, and travel. I especially appreciated and enjoyed the extra time I got to be with our family and friends. I enjoyed gardening, various crafts, and the pleasure and luxury of cruises with Tom.

I wrote my own obituary to help you see that I had a good life here on earth and to let you know that I will always be with you in the memories we created together.

I love and miss you more.
