Suzanne Mary Lancour

Born November 17, 1966, in Marquette, a daughter of Allen and Mary (Chaudier) Richard, Suzanne was raised in Marquette and graduated from Marquette Senior High School, Class of 1984. In 1987, Suzanne was united in marriage to Kenny Lancour and together the couple established a home and began raising their family. When the children were a little older, Suzanne enrolled at Northern Michigan University, where she pursued (often with at least one kid on her hip) a degree in nursing. For many years, Suzanne was employed as a licensed practical nurse in the Cardiology office at Marquette General Hospital before a disability forced her into an early retirement. Survivors include her husband, Kenny Lancour; two sons, Allen Lancour and Aaron Lancour both of Marquette; her father, Allen “Augie” Richard of Marquette; her sisters, Beth (Rob) Atkins of Kalamazoo and Cassandra (Chuck) Temple of Rhode Island; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary. A private family celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held at a later date.
