Mary Ann Quinn Hunsader

MARQUETTE, MI – Mary Ann Quinn Hunsader, of Marquette, passed away on Friday evening, February 21, 2020, at the Norlite Nursing Center.

Mary Ann was born in Ontonagon, Michigan, one of four children born to the late Michael and Genevieve (Gates) Quinn, Sr. She graduated from Ontonagon High School.

Following graduation, Mary Ann over the years was formerly employed at Northern Michigan University, the Wanska Insurance Agency and Montgomery Wards. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, was a voracious reader and loved watching the Green Bay Packers as well as other Wisconsin sports teams.

Survivors include her brother, Michael Quinn, Jr. of Marquette; a niece, Kathy Koski of Madison, WI; two nephews, Joseph Gunter of Georgia and Michael Gunter of Madison, WI; great- nieces and nephews, Rose, Isabella, Quinn, Tom, and Joe; her former husband, William Hunsader of Sturgeon Bay, WI and step-sons, Bill and Brad Hunsader.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were two sisters, Patricia Rose Gunter and Theresa Quinn.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th at 11 a.m. in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home with the Rev. Msgr. Michael Steber officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. A dessert reception will be held at the funeral home immediately following the service.
