Marvin Henry Anderson Sr.
WEATHERFORD, TX – Marvin Henry Anderson, Sr. of Weatherford, Texas, formerly of Richmond Township passed away on Nov. 21, 2019 at Santa Fe Rehab and Nursing Center with his daughter by his side.
Marvin as born Dec. 18, 1933 to Ina and Hank Anderson.
Marvin was a member of the National Guard, worked at the Tracy Mine, retiring from Richmond Township.
In July of 1964, he married Ruth Oja Wills and together they raised five children. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
Marvin is survived by son, William (Terri) Wills of Gwinn, MI, daughter, Tammy Anderson (Pete Peterson) of Weatherford, TX, son, Marvin (Eka) Anderson Jr. of Northfield, MN. Grandchildren, B.J. (Laurie) Wills, Mindy (Brian) Moyle, both of Gwinn, MI, David Peterson of Weatherford, TX. Two great grandchildren, Azlynn Wills and Hunter Davis of Gwinn, MI. Also brother-in-law John (Liz) Oja of Gwinn, MI, special cousin Roger Anderson, Little Danni, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth of 54 years, sons David Wills, Kenneth Wills, sister and brother-in-law Joyce and John Dobnikar, Edward (Sonny) and Edna Oja, Verna Oja.

A private burial will take place in Negaunee, MI June 2020.
