Patricia A. Dougherty

Born January 23, 1938, in Ishpeming, a daughter of Clarence and Helen (Schafer) Kutchie, Pat was raised in Negaunee and graduated from St. Paul High School, Class of 1956. She was united in marriage to Gene Dougherty and together the couple established a home in Negaunee and began raising a family. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker to whom her family meant everything. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and occasional trips to the casino. Once the children were raised, the couple loved to travel to Las Vegas and also travel to visit their kids and grandkids. Very faithful and devout, Pat was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Pat is survived by her two children, Laurie (William) Olgren of Ishpeming and Lynn (Jim) Tiffany of Grayslake, IL; three grandchildren, Jalina (Steve) McClain of Negaunee, and Chelsey Tiffany and Tyler Tiffany both of Grayslake IL; her brother, James (Rosemary) Kutchie of Ishpeming; two sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Remillard of Negaunee and Geraldine (Curtis) Ramseth of Negaunee; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; a grandson, Ryan Olgren; and a brother, Jack Kutchie.

The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, October 12, beginning at 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with Rev. Larry Van Damme, pastor, as celebrant. A reception will follow. Interment will be made in the Negaunee Cemetery.
