Jeanette Ann Lindberg

Jeanette was born May 29, 1931 the daughter of Wayne and Edith (Jacobs) Moilanen and was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1949. Jeanette lived in Ishpeming all her life and spent many winters in Naples, FL. Jeanette was a former secretary and cashier and later worked for the Ishpeming School District. She enjoyed being an amateur oil painter and calligrapher. Jeanette was thankful she was given the years to enjoy them.

Jeanette belonged to the Wesley United Methodist Church and the women’s group at Wesley, reading clubs, Wawonowin Country Club, bridge and Mah Jongg groups, Friends of the Library, Vasa Lodge, and enjoyed her walking and coffee groups.

She will be remembered for her love of art, music and books.

Jeanette’s family was the most important thing in her life. She was happiest when her children or grandchildren would visit or stay with her and always took great interest in what was happening in each one’s life. And she loved to talk about her family with her friends.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Stanley C. Lindberg; son Rolfe (Catherine) Lindberg of Sammamish, WA; daughter Anne (Craig) Stone of Naples, FL; 5 grandchildren – Nicolette Lindberg of Loma Linda, CA, Bianca and Lucas Lindberg of Sammamish, WA, Logan Stone of Los Angeles, CA and Katherine (T.J.) Solomon of West Palm Beach, FL; brother Harold (Carol) Moilanen of Hartland, WI; 4 nephews and families.

Per Jeanette’s request there will be no public services. Private graveside services will be held at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
