Charles Allen ‘Charlie’ Bergstrom

Charlie was born in Marquette, the last of 12 children to Emil and Agnes Bergstrom, immigrants from Sweden. He was a graduate of Graveraet High School and Northern Michigan University. His Army service included time overseas in Germany. He taught school in Dearborn, MI and at the Branch Prison in Marquette. Charlie moved to Las Vegas, NV where he worked for the State of Nevada in Industrial Therapy. When he retired, he and his wife, Beverly “Sam”, moved to Mountain Home, ID.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Beverly, siblings, Grace Wiggins, Ralph, Floyd, Russ, Jim, Don, Judy, Kathleen “Kay” Murto and baby twin sisters.

Survivors include his son, Tom of Mountain Home, and daughter, Kelly (Terry) Keller of Medford, OR., as well as his sister, Nancy (Ray) Cayemberg of Duluth, MN., and many nieces and nephews.
