ROCKFORD, IL – 1933–2019 Geraldine F. Perala, 85, of Rockford, passed away on February 19, 2019. She was born on April 4, 1933, in Harmon, IL, the daughter of Floyd and Mildred (Reneau) Lincoln. She graduated from Dixon High School. Geraldine married Irving B. “Ben” Perala on October 23, 1955, in Dixon. She was employed by Northern Illinois Gas Company as a sales clerk. Geraldine was a member of Alpine Lutheran Church and was active in the Deborah Circle. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and her time in Michigan.

She is survived by her husband, Irving; sons, Kevin (Valerie), Curtis (Kimber), and Jeffrey (Gary); three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 2 great- great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Forren; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by sisters; Dorla, Carol, and Doris; and brother, Bill.

Private family burial, Sat. August 3rd at 10:30am at Negaunee City Cemetery.
