Karen Bennett Sundberg
TAYLOR, MI – Karen Ebba Bennett Sundberg, 77, passed away in Taylor, MI on Aug. 13, 2018.
Karen was born in Marquette on Nov. 5, 1940 to Helen Eklund Bennett and Eugene Herbert Bennett.
She attented the Ishpeming Public Schools graduating with the class of 1958. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in art from Northern Michigan University and a Master’s Degree from Wayne State University.
She is survived by a daughter Kristine, grandchildren Jennifer and Thomas, seven great-grandchildren, a brother Bill Bennett of Ishpeming, and many cousins.
According to Karen’s wishes she was cremated. Her ashes will be buried in the Eklund family plot in the Ishpeming cemetery.
