Mary E. Reynolds
ISHPEMING, MI – Mary E. Reynolds, 67, of Ishpeming, died peacefully Friday morning, May 25, 2018 at the Lighthouse in Ishpeming while under the care of UP Home Health & Hospice. She was born January 2, 1951 in Marquette, a daughter of the late Wesley and Arbutus (Hanson) Kumpula and was a lifelong area resident.
Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and BINGO.
She is survived by five children, Vicki (Steve) Contois of Ishpeming, Cindi (Scott) Slattery of Marquette, Scott (Donna) Reynolds of Gwinn, Dan Reynolds of Marquette and Chris (Beverly) Reynolds of Ishpeming; grandchildren, Samantha Contois, Jon (Alyssa) Slattery, Leah (Heather) Retaskie, Athena, Austin and Alaina Reynolds, Hanna & Haydn Matthews, Katie, Wesley and Charlie Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Braelynn and Jace Slattery; a sister, Anne Koepp of Marquette; nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Edward Kumpula; and a grandson, Dylan Matthews-Reynolds.
A private celebration of Mary’s life will be held.
