Gayle F. Bone
ISHPEMING, MI Gayle F. Bone, age 76, longtime Sundara Foster Care Home resident in Marquette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility surrounded by her family, the caring staff at MCMCF and the U.P. Home Health and Hospice.
Gayle was born in Ishpeming on September 9, 1941 to the late Calvin and Leona (Lerlie) Bone. For many of the past years, Gayle has lived in the adult foster care system, most recently at Sundara in Marquette. She was always surrounded by people who loved her and cared for her well.
Gayle was truly one of God’s special angels, sent to share her innocence, laughter, and love with her family and all who came to know her. She loved music (rock and roll), dancing, crafts, and most of all hugs and kisses. She will be missed by many, and memories of her will bring smiles to their faces.
Gayle is survived by three sisters- Janet Genoff of Taylor, MI, Patricia Hickerson of Monroe, MI, Sandra Mager of Ishpeming, one brother- Gregory Bone of Gwinn, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, stepmother- Lucille Quayle, and one brother Donald.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
