Marilyn Yvonne (Rogers) Gidlund

Born on January 3, 1940 to Russell W. and Lila (Hill) Rogers in Negaunee, MI. She was a 1958 graduate of Negaunee High School. She married Peter Gidlund on November 15, 1974.

Survived by her husband and daughters, Toni Darlene Mataya, Debra Pohlman, Jodi Gidlund, Sons, Randy Mataya, James (Paula) Gidlund, grandchildren, Christopher and Samantha Erdman, Hunter and Jacob Gustaves, Steven Dorn, Matt and Amanda Pohlman, Jake, Allee, Rachel and Ryan Gidlund, great-granddaughters, Bella Gidlund, Ella Dorn, great-grandson, Madison Pohlman. Sisters, Joyce Pavecec and Darlene Nelson, many cousins, nieces and nephews, special friends, Sue Berholtz and JoAnn Dennis.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Shirley Doucette and Joan Stanaway. Brothers-in-law, Edward Doucette, John Pavecec, Garth Stanaway and Robert Nelson, nephew, Roger Doucette.

Private services will be held in Negaunee in the spring.
