Edna M. Hibbard

BRADFORD, PA – Edna M. Hibbard, 76, of Bradford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on February 12, 1941 in Munising, MI, a daughter of the late Andrew and Elsie Johnson Mattson.

She was a 1959 graduate of Graverate High School, Marquette.

On May 14, 1977 she married George J. Hibbard in Marquette.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Bradford. Edna enjoyed knitting, crocheting and being outdoors where she fished and hunted. She also loved her cats.

She was employed as a crossing guard for the Marquette police department for six years prior to moving to Pennsylvania. After moving to Pennsylvania she worked at the former Boyd’s Corner Store, Coudersport, for many years.

In addition to her husband of forty years, George Hibbard of Bradford, she is also survived by one daughter, Cathie (Agnelo) Rebelo of North Dighton, MA; two stepdaughters, Charla (Terry) Henry of DeKalb, IL and Jean Kohn of Wausau, WI; one sister, Carol Ann Wolf of Marquette; two granddaughters, Alexandra Rebelo of North Dighton, MA and Emilie Rebelo of Rumford, RI and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Marie Barr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Grace Lutheran Church from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with funeral services to immediately follow with the Rev. Patrick Cox officiating.

Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette Township, PA.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc., Bradford.
