Jere B. Stafford
MARQUETTE, MI – A private graveside service was held at Holy Cross Cemetery for Jere B. Stafford, 86, of Marquette, who passed away on April 16, 2017.
Jere was the son of Leo and Marion (Bernard) Stafford, born in Marquette on June 13, 1930. He was a 1947 graduate of Bishop Baraga High School.
Jere is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Catherine Stafford; two sons, George Stafford of New Paltz, NY, Jay (Kimberly) Stafford of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Bridget of Stevens Point, WI; granddaughter, Angela Stafford and grandson, Dustin Stafford; sister, Judy Balbierz as well as other relations.
Jere was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kurt and sisters, Diane McKenna and Pamela Ogle.
