SETH MOSER

WETMORE, MI – Seth Avery Moser, age 16, of Wetmore, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

He was born on June 12, 2000 in Ishpeming, Michigan to Nate and Amanda (Robinson) Moser. Seth was a good kid and a tenderhearted jokester, who had the ability to make anyone smile. He would take it upon himself to try to get the adults in the room to smile and laugh. Whether he was stealing someone’s line in the school play, or taking a selfie on your phone when you were not looking, Seth would make you smile. He was Junior at the Munising Baptist School, and played soccer and basketball for the Bobcats, and really showed his wheels on the track team. Aside from sports, Seth also was involved with church youth group, and any activity that gave him a chance to spend time with friends and talk to girls. He enjoyed playing video games, watching and creating YouTube videos with his brother Noah and buddies Caleb, Hunter and Matthew, and listening to music (but hated when his family would sing along). Seth also enjoyed being outdoors, and hunting and fishing. He worked in the summer for the Pictured Rocks Cruises and would help his grandpa at the Superior Sawmill in Trenary. Seth’s favorite time of the year was the summer, where he enjoyed camping, trips with his family, and going to Muskegon for Unity Fest. He had a great passion for math and even checked out advanced math books during the summer. He hoped to go to Cedarville University after graduation. He loved working with kids. Seth was a great son and an amazing brother, and he is loved dearly by his family and friends. He gave the best hugs and on Thanksgiving, you could find him with his Nana, making his favorite pumpkin pie (of course, he always made an extra to hide away for himself). Seth was a born again believer and his family look to the day of our reunion with him in heaven where we will dwell for all eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Seth is survived by his parents – Nate and Amanda Moser of Wetmore; siblings – Noah, Zoe, and Willow Moser; grandparents – Craig and Karen Robinson of Wetmore, Mark Moser of Trenary, Victoria (John) Rich of Muskegon; great-grandfathers- Nathan Moser of Muskegon and Ron Robinson of Dimondale, MI; aunts and uncles – Alicia (Vic) Huddas, Andrew (Elizabeth) Robinson, Andrea (Zac) Culter, Judy (Walt) Zok, and Elizabeth Moser; and cousins Kailee, Tyler, Madison and Taylor Huddas, Jared, Xander and Logan Culter, Hunter, Craig and Austin Robinson, Jordan and Alexis Moser, Jared, Audrey and Bethany Zok.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents – Edith and Everett Braatz, Freda Moser, Karl and Jane Carpenter, and Riola Robinson.

Visitation will be on Saturday March 18, 2017 at the Bowerman Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pastor Jason LaFlamme will conduct Seth’s funeral service on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Munising Baptist Church in Wetmore.
