ST. PAUL, MN. – Marilyn Faye Gorski, born 8/16/24, the second of three Abendroth children, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Sholom residence for assisted living in St. Paul Minnesota.
She was a resident of Marquette Michigan for 47 years. She was the first President of the Marquette chapter of the League of Women Voters. She was a fifth grade teacher in Madison Wisconsin and Marquette as well as a teacher in Marquette’s specialty High School where she found challenges that she found to be the most worthwhile to meet. She was also, a founding member of the Marquette Unitarian Church.
She is survived; by her husband, Richard (AKA, Mike) of 67 years, her sons, Nicholas and Jason her grandchildren, Sam and Miranda; her nieces, Joanne Alkire and Tani Hein, and her nephew, Michael.
