Harvey LeRoy Phillips
NILES, Mich. – Harvey LeRoy Phillips, 78 (19342013) of Niles, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Silverbrook Manor in Niles.
Harvey was born to Leonard T. and Sylvia Belle Phillips in Neligh, NE on September 28, 1934. He grew up in Republic, Michigan and moved to the Niles area in the late 1960s.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Larry; and sister-in-law, Nancy.
He is survived by brothers, Windell (Bettie), Ronald (Loretta) Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Southern Care Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Hoven Funeral Home Inc. in Buchanan, MI, with visitation one hour before the service in the funeral home. Pastor Randy Pearman of Bethel Baptist Church will be officiating the service. Burial will take place in Republic Cemetery in Republic, Michigan at a later date.
