CONOVER, Wis. — The Northwoods Blizzard Blast will be at 4697 Park Circle, Conover Community Park, Conover, Wis., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT Saturday.

Admission is free and there will be winter fun for everyone.

Family fun includes recliner races, ice bowling, slap shot hockey, open ice skating and showshoe baseball games. Snow sculpting creations last long after the event. Face painting for kids.

Dogsled dash event, pony rides, horse-drawn sleigh ride or cross country ski trail on Pioneer Creek ski trail are all part of the day.

Food includes s’mores over a bonfire. There are heated restrooms. There will be a chance to shop the artisan bazaar.

Proceeds benefit the Northwoods area Fire and EMS departments.
