Republic-Michigamme wins in High School Bowl

Republic-Michigamme played Dollar Bay in High School Bowl and won by a score of 160-90. Thirty-six schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin compete in WNMU-TV's High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 47 years on the air. Republic-Michigamme will advance to the second round when they play Negaunee, scheduled to air on Jan. 31. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. It is also available statewide on the Michigan Learning Channel.
