Negaunee competes in High School Bowl

Negaunee played Houghton in High School Bowl and won by a score of 300-200. Thirty-six schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin compete in WNMU-TV's High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 47 years on the air. Negaunee will advance to the second round when they play Republic-Michigamme, scheduled to air on Jan. 31, 2026. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. It is also available statewide on the Michigan Learning Channel.
