MARQUETTE — The Lake Superior Community Partnership assisted Able Medical Devices, part of the JM Longyear family of companies, with a ribbon-cutting to announce the opening of its new 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Marquette, Michigan. The new facility, located at 2980 M-553, Marquette, MI, will enhance operational efficiency, support future growth, and provide an improved working environment for the company’s team.

Able Medical Devices designs and manufactures high-quality surgical implants and instruments, offering a full range of services from early design and development to final production of ready- to-use products that improve patient care. The company has long been a part of the Sawyer International Airport community in Gwinn, MI, and while that location will continue to support operations, the Marquette facility positions Able for the next stage of growth.
