MARQUETTE — The Lake Superior Community Partnership held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday to celebrate the opening of NeuroFit, LLC.

The neurofeedback clinic, founded by local registered nurse Cami Storm, offers training to help optimize brain function and help individuals live their best, healthiest lives.

Neurofeedback is a noninvasive, painless method designed to retrain the brain so those who utilize it can engage their brain functions in more productive ways than before.

Storm was inspired to bring these services to the community after watching her son struggle in school. She searched for solutions to problems such as falling behind on assignments, poor sleep and trouble staying on task.

Following neurofeedback treatment, Storm said she watched her son experience significant improvements in grades, working memory and his overall well-being.

Aside from Storm’s personal experience, neurofeedback training has also been proven to offer benefits for those living with a variety of mental health conditions, such as ADHD, insomnia, depression, anxiety, concussions, and long COVID symptoms among others.

“We are excited to bring NeuroFit to Marquette and offer our community a powerful tool for improving mental health and overall quality of life,” said Cami Storm. “Our mission is to help individuals achieve optimal brain function and live happier, healthier lives.”
