Lake Superior Knitters at the Marquette Regional History Center participated in the Marquette County Fair, winning many first place ribbons. Both were awarded first place after one year with the group. Donna and Mary Ann also entered other categories. The knitting group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays and welcomes all ages and levels of knitting. The group started in February 2023 and the MRHC supports the Holiday Art Sale and the Lake Superior Fiber Festival.
