DAR chapter supports U.P. Honor Flight

MARQUETTE — Melissa Wilson, Regent of the Onagomingkway chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, donated $1,000 to Scott Knauf of the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight committee for the fall 2024 mission.

Members of the Onagomingkway chapter raised the money by returning pop cans and bottles and hosting a day of grocery bagging at Tadych’s Marketplace.

Supporting U.P. Honor Flight is an act of patriotism, one of the three pillars of service that make up the mission of NSDAR. The members of Onagomingkway are already busy raising their next contribution.

Based in Marquette, Onagomingkway serves the western portion of the Upper Peninsula through patriotic, educational and historic preservation endeavours.
