ISHPEMING — It is our honor and privilege to announce the 2024 Class of inductees into the Ishpeming Public Schools Halls of Excellence.

The halls of excellence was established last year to recognize outstanding alumni, staff, and supporters of the Ishpeming Public Schools.

The IPS Halls of Excellence Class of 2024:

≤ 1974 Girls Basketball Regional Champs and trailblazers for girl\\\’s sports at IHS

≤ 1979 State Football Champions

≤ Norman Andrew – teacher and coach

≤ Sue Danielson – educator/support staff

≤ Tim Easterwood – outstanding graduate

≤ Edwin B (Ned) Johnson – outstanding graduate

≤ John Manchester – teacher

≤ Bob and Cheryl Marietti – outstanding donors and community leaders

≤ Jeff Olson – teacher, coach, and national advocate

≤ Noah Stetson – outstanding graduate

The induction ceremony is scheduled at 6 p.m. July 3 in Ishpeming High School’s W.C. Peterson Auditorium.

A reception will follow the event at the historic Mather Inn, featuring refreshments from Mama Mia’s Restaurant.
