The Gwinn “ModelTowners” played the Republic-Michigamme “Hawks” in a “Cerebral 16” round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 260-50. Thirty-eight schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 45 years on the air. Gwinn will advance to the second round when they play Gladstone, scheduled to air on March 30.
