MARQUETTE — John “Jack” Wood, Mill Creek Senior Living Community, was presented a plaque by Adam Saari, Business Agent, for 75 years as a member of the Bricklayers Union, Local #2.

Jack became a member of the Local #2 in 1948 and worked throughout the Upper Peninsula during his years of service as a Bricklayer.

Attending the ceremony was Alex Sovey, Chapter President and Trainer whom Jack mentored throughout the years. Also in attendance were Jack’s sons, Bob and Myron Wood, along with Mill Creek staff.
